Henrico EDA's Small Business Resources
As we celebrate Small Business Appreciation Month, we must recognize the hard work and dedication that small business owners put into their businesses. These entrepreneurs often wear many hats, from managing finances to marketing their products or services.
Our economy and communities thrive on small businesses, which is why the Henrico Economic Development Authority provides programs to support them throughout their journey.
Through our new Small Business Boost program, in partnership
with Henrico Citizen, small businesses can increase their advertising exposure
and reach new customers.

Henrico EDA collaborates with Startup Virginia to provide a

On a final note, we have two upcoming events that are sure to provide a lot of value to our entrepreneurial community.
SCORE and Henrico Economic
Development Authority's Pop-Up Mentoring Program (PUMP) is a business game
changer. This program offers expert guidance and support, effectively
overcoming obstacles and propelling businesses to the next level.
We're also working with the Virginia Department of Small
Business Supplier Diversity (SBSD) to ensure that small women and minority-owned
businesses are SWaM certified, giving them access to state contracts and new
opportunities and will host a workshop to provide entrepreneurs the tools they
need to gain a competitive advantage.

The Henrico Economic Development Authority is committed to
helping small businesses succeed. With our community's support, resources, and
opportunities, the entrepreneurs we help today can grow and thrive, creating a
brighter future.
